Isabelle, born in Quebec, Canada, is geographer graduated from Sherbrooke University and accredited Trekking Guide by C.A.T.A. A.G., (Association of Adventure Tourism Agencies, Chile). In 1999, she arrived to Peru where she stayed for three years to work with Peruvian organizations in local participative development and environmental management. Later, she make a trip along Chile, traveling around the north and south of the country. Her outstanding sensitivity and interest in knowing other lands and cultures allow her to mix with its people, to get to know its traditions and to visit incredible places of this country and being able to do outdoor activities such as mountaineering, trekking and climbing in different sceneries. Attracted by adventure, the beauty of its landscapes and the warmth of the Chilean people, she decided to take up this challenge of founding PAREDON Andes Expedition along with Mauricio. For more than three years, Isabelle has been tour leader in Chile, Argentina, Bolivia and Perú for well-known agencies from France. Her excellent organization and planning ability makes up an essential part of the creation and development of our programs, and for that reason she is the perfect coordinator for our team. Her favorite activities are trekking, cycling, mountaineering and cross-country skiing. |
